Katlego Ngwane is truly a rainbow in the cloud for many when it comes to her generous spirit. Katlego is a Val de Vie homeowner, a successful entrepreneur, and an ardent supporter of the Val de Vie Foundation. Together with New Orleans Secondary school teacher Meagan Paulse, they devised an Outreach program for the school.

145 needy learners were invited to complete a questionnaire on why they should be recipients of the program. Questions included Academic
results, family income, attendance levels and personal needs. 30 fortunate young learners received packs of school shoes, socks, uniforms and stationery.

Katli said she was inspired to invest in these young people because: “January is difficult for many parents, given the expense of uniforms and stationery. As a parent myself and know that many kids in our country do not attend school because they lack the basic things they need. I wanted to assist them in being the best they can be. Our learners and parents are so grateful- may this initiative grow from strength to strength.’’ – Meagan Paulse

May we remember the things we often take for granted, that someone else is praying for.
