Our marquee programme led by the Western Cape Education Department called @ Home Learning won First Runner Up for the “Replication and Adaptation of an Innovative Solution” category in 2022. This formed part of the National Public Service Awards and was the only project that was shortlisted in the education sector. It was a tremendous accolade as it was only conceptualised during 2019 Covid-19 outbreak, piloted in 2020 and then rolled out from 2021. The Val de Vie Foundation is proud to have played a pivotal role in its development and continued growth to 70 schools in 25 communities in the Valley and select Western Cape Districts for 2023.
