INDLOVU | Hope Through Action - Val de Vie Foundation

INDLOVU – is a sewing project, named after the elephants that roamed in this valley. We are inspired to carry on their legacy of strength, hope and pride by empowering the unemployed of this Valley with skills, giving them hope to provide for their families and pride as they grow in self-confidence, creativity, and ability.

We have grown from upcycling advertising banners and making simple drawstring bags for Amazon to creating a diverse range of products with beautiful, bright shweshwe – a truly African endeavour of creativity.

You can find our brilliantly bright shweshwe masks at Pick ‘n Pay Franschhoek and you can find a plethora of bags, pouches and purses available at the Wine Tram.

Or pop in at Franschhoek Valley Community Sport Centre to see our range of products. We customize clothing and shoes, too! Come check out our branded T-shirts and hoodies -and our really cool Vans.
