In the spirit of Ubuntu, Val de Vie Estate residents are always eager to offer their support when called upon. Last December (2024), the Val de Vie Foundation called upon residents to help the vulnerable in the Paarl-Franschhoek community by donating fresh Val de Vie Wellness Farm vegetables to The Lord’s Acre Christian Community Centre in Franschhoek, with the aim of “setting the table for all” during the festive season.
It is often during such times that the less fortunate are forgotten, while those more fortunate among us are able to celebrate this joyous season with friends and family.
The team from The Lord’s Acre Christian Community Centre took the time to prepare a hearty Christmas lunch for the needy in the community, spreading the joy of Christmas and offering hope to those who might otherwise have gone hungry.
A heartfelt thank you to the Val de Vie Estate residents who contributed fresh crates of organic vegetables from the Val de Vie Wellness Farm. “Your support truly made a difference, and we are deeply grateful for your commitment to spreading kindness and goodwill,” said Pastor Jaftas from The Lord’s Acre Christian Community Centre.
Together, we continue to make a meaningful impact, proving that small acts of kindness can bring immense joy to those in need. The generosity of the Val de Vie Estate residents is a true testament to the Val de Vie Foundation’s mission of “A better life for all.”
