This story highlights the lasting impact of the Mosaic programme, a beneficiary of the Val de Vie Foundation, through the journey of alumna Champagne-Morgan Gazani. She recently completed her Business Management Diploma at Northlink College and is now progressing to her required internship in order to graduate. Stepping into adulthood with resilience and optimism, she’s also pursuing freelance social media work.
She describes herself as someone who makes others feel safe and comfortable and who never gives up. This year, her goals include growing closer to God, obtaining her driver’s licence and travelling, a beautiful picture of hope and forward momentum.
Recently, she visited Mosaic’s children attending the Paarl Valley Child Development Programme. There, she reflected on her time with Mosaic, shared her experiences and spoke about what it has meant for her life, particularly after completing school.

When reflecting on Mosaic’s role, she shared:
“Mosaic has played an important role by providing essential resources such as reliable internet access, creating valuable opportunities for learners to complete their homework and assignments effectively. Their support has made a meaningful difference in my learning experience.”
Describing the impact of the Mosaic team, she added:
“They were the support system I needed and they were my hope. They helped shape my resilience and proved that, with the right support system, there is hope for my future.”
She ended her time with the group by encouraging them:
“There is a place in this world for you. Believe in yourself and make the most of this opportunity.”
Champagne-Morgan’s journey is one of many that reflect the lasting, tangible impact of the Val de Vie Foundation’s support for beneficiaries like Mosaic.
