Val de Vie Foundation hosts an annual blanket drive, one of our absolute favourite initiatives – and one that was much needed this year. Having faced an icy and gloomy winter, the Val de Vie Foundation called on the Val de Vie residents to donate a blanket for those in need.

Throughout the June, July and August months, the Val de Vie Estate residents donated over 500 new blankets (507) to ACVV to distribute accordingly. These blankets were dropped weekly at the ACVV Paarl Vallei offices and they made sure every blanket was gifted where it was most needed throughout our community.

Many individuals and families have stayed warm and comfortable during the chilly winter months thanks to a lovingly donated blanket. Beneficiaries include farm residents of the Joubertsdal and Weenwouden farms, Eike Rivier and Joubertsdal elderly people, Windmeul and Niuwedrift clinic patients, Just Trees crèche, scholars, and the homeless.

We want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to the generous donations of our Val de Vie Estate residents. This act of kindness is a testament to our shared dedication to making a difference in the lives of those in need. Together, we have provided a symbol of protection and hope with every warm blanket.
