The Val de Vie Foundation and the children of MCM Miqlat Day Care are at a loss for words to express the joy and happiness experienced during their Christmas party on Thursday 30 November.
We are so grateful for our residents delivering 54 beautifully wrapped Christmas boxes brimming with the most exquisite presents these children have ever received. Thank you, a heartfelt thank you.
November 30th marked a day of memorable firsts for these children. From their first time riding in a luxurious bus to Stellenbosch, seeing tractors in the Blaauwklippen vineyards, exploring a dream playground, enjoying a bike ride, tasty party packs and the highlight- seeing a real Father Christmas handing out the best presents the could have imagined. They patiently waited until the last child had received her gift, and then eager little hands began to tear open the paper. The excitement and joy on their faces were beautifully captured by our photographer Daniel Saaiman. We are pleased to share a selection of these moments with you.
The Val de Vie Foundation works with the community to organise at least one Christmas party a year. We are grateful for your monthly donation via your levy and then going the extra mile with the Christmas gift boxes.
