Monte Christo Miqlat (MCM) is a Christian-based charity in Paarl that strategically aims to aid vulnerable community members and children.
MCM’s mission is to transform lives and uplift communities, a mission that the Val de Vie Foundation is proud to support. With their three focus areas, Community Care Centre, Community Nutrition, and Homeless Care, MCM works with leaders from the communities in which they serve and focus on.
Aligning with Val de Vie Foundation’s vision of – a better life for all, MCM initiatives address critical issues in early childhood development, support for orphans and vulnerable children, and home-based care. Funding MCM enables the organisation to offer a range of programmes, including meal distribution, day-care, after-school facilities, tutoring, and job creation for the homeless. Through these programmes, they enable and nurture stable family relationships as a foundation for peaceful and sustainable communities which is our ultimate goal.
In areas plagued by neglect and abuse, the work of MCM brings hope and tangible improvements, empowering children and families to experience healthy fulfilling lives.
