March 2020 ushered in a ‘’new normal’’ for South Africa as we started to feel the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic and our President Cyril Ramaphosa very wisely put the entire country into lockdown. The human toll of this virus will be counted not only in the loss of life but also in the livelihood of our most vulnerable in society.
